Advancing Applied Chemical Frameworks Across Biological & Sustainable Systems

Bruce A. Cosgrove is an independent scientific researcher specializing in applied solution chemistry and systems-based evaluation of biological and sustainable technologies. His work bridges environmental chemistry, mineral processing science, and botanical formulation systems to develop structured, reproducible approaches to health resilience and technological sustainability.

This integrated framework informs research, translational formulation design, and science-based innovation at the intersection of chemistry, biology, and environmental systems.

Between 1987 - 2013, Bruce served as interim President and CEO of multiple public companies, leading strategic acquisitions and financing initiatives across the former Vancouver Stock Exchange (VSE) and the U.S. OTC Markets platform.

His work includes the development and commercialization of CHIP-based semiconductor technologies for real-time remote diagnostics of automotive onboard computer systems and structural integrity monitoring of oil and gas pipelines, consistently driving value for both private and public shareholders.

Dodge City 2004

During 2008–2009, Bruce, as Managing Partner of Deacon Publishing and Film Production, LLC, acquired the film rights from Stephen C. Shaver, author of the published novel DODGE CITY 2004. Serving as Executive Producer, Bruce coordinated multiple writers to develop the manuscript for a full-length independent feature screenplay Dodge City 2004 (runtime: 2 hours and 10 minutes), registered with the Writers Guild of America West (WGAW Registry No. 1336579) and published under ISBN-10: 0615129196; ISBN-13: 978-0615129198.

In addition, Bruce worked closely with the Director Doug Raine and the Unit Production Manager (UPM) to prepare the short-form production budget. Bruce successfully raised the required USD $453,000 through the sale of New Mexico Film Office Tax Credits and secured supplemental financing commitments from a retirement fund for $USD 10 million to support production of the independent feature film, until development was ultimately halted by the Great Recession.

Moli Energy Ltd.

The Canadian pioneer of rechargeable lithium battery technology.

Between 1980 and 1987, Bruce spent seven years with Moli Energy Limited (now E-One MOLICEL) as a chemist pioneering electrolyte research for the world’s first rechargeable lithium molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂) battery, later serving as Marketing Director. A former lithium battery pioneer – Canada Awards for Excellence recipient in 1986, he secured the company’s first externally funded U.S. military R&D contract (Fort Monmouth, NY) to develop a lightweight 12-volt DC lithium battery pack replacing lead-acid field systems, successfully integrating AC/DC circuitry within a D-cell format.

Bruce also supported Moli Energy’s 1986 public listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange, culminating in a record CAD $25 million technology financing.
